We have been a contracted NHS supplier of doctors since 2006 and have 3 years experience operating as a Master Vendor. We have been awarded the national HSE contract as a specialist supplier to public sector hospitals in Ireland. Additionally, we have been approved as a medical recruitment specialist to hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.

Our Quality Assurance

Constant auditing of our security processes and systems mean Direct Medics can be relied upon for the supply of medical locums who have met the appropriate criteria.
Our audit teams ensure that NHS Employers’ quality standards are maintained and comply with all national guidelines for occupational health and identification security. This includes e-validation of qualifications and Criminal Records Bureau checks.
Whilst our agency provides value for money for the NHS, patient safety and clinical governance are high priority drivers for not only the construction of our policies and procedures but also the ongoing review of our adherence to these standards.
